Wedding Photo Poses
One of our favourite things about weddings is the loved up couple photos that capture the moment. If you’ve been planning your wedding then I’m sure you’ll have come across those photos that just make your heart feel warm, we wanted to share with you some of our favourite poses in the hope that they might inspire the pictures you capture on your special day. We’d also recommend following a few hashtags on Instagram so you can get daily inspiration - we’ve been loving ‘coupleposes’ ‘weddingphotoshoot’ and ‘weddingposes’.
Our first favourite is what we are calling the ‘confetti shot’. As the name suggests this is really the most romantic shot you can capture.

One thing to remember with this shot is that you should check with your venue first. Some places will only allow specific types of confetti such as organic or natural pieces. If you want to take it to the next level you can even have your guests surrounding you in the photo showering you with confetti or you could get confetti in your specific wedding colours so everything looks in theme.
Another favourite is particularly great if you have young children – or you could even use your bridal party to recreate the moment. We call this the ‘cooties’ pose since your chosen members will pretend to be discussed by the sight of you and your new husband kissing.

We think this makes the sweetest photo and not only looks adorable but also involves some very little members of your wedding who will love to see themselves in the photo album. Trust me our little ones adore it and for ages thought it was so funny.
We also had to feature one that shows of the love between bride and groom. It was actually difficult to give this a name since the only thing that came to mind was ‘linking arms’ but that doesn’t quite describe this too well. We love that the background of this can show of some gorgeous scenery but if you are having an indoor wedding there are plenty of ways to make this picture look amazing.

You photographer can do some amazing editing to make this look exactly how you want and can also add some distance effects to fade out the background and bringing the focus onto to foreground – aka the bride and groom.
Who doesn’t what a shot that shows of your new accessory. Wedding rings can make great pictures especially with a nice close up shot. There are a variety of hand poses you can do to help make this shot great but the one we’ve picked out is relatively simplistic and shows of just the hands.

If you're wanted to add something to this, you could involve your family by having your children’s hands placed in the shot too. In fact, we have even seen this with dog paws so your pets can be involved to.
Another one to involve your wedding party in since everyone loves to capture moments with friends and family. We love these ‘tug-of-war’ shots and they can look great both indoor or outdoor weddings. You could even add the rest of your wedding guests in if you fancy making it a long shot!

Overall, this can make a great photo and can be especially great as part of a wedding photo montage or collage of your favourite shots. We think a gorgeous background would add even more to this shot. If you have any props at your weddings, we know those giant L O V E signs have been popular lately, then posing in front of these would look truly incredible.
We’ve got just one more picture to share with you and we hope you love it! This one has been picked because of it’s use of gorgeous scenery, romance and use of steps. This would look amazing for outdoor weddings that incorporate a beautiful garden backdrop.
This ‘take me by than hand’ shot makes an incredible feature piece and we think it would make a real statement displayed in your home!
